5 minute fried spicy prawns

The image you see below is a photo of my new recipe for fried prawns. It came pretty nice and tasted good. So I thought to share the recipe below. čśÇ

  • Curry powder
  • Turmeric powder
  • Oil
  • Peper powder
  • Chili pieces
  • Prawns

Mix the ingredients except for the prawns in oil until it becomes a good paste. Then mix the paste with the prawns. After that, fry the prawns in a  pan turning the sides of the prawns regularly for about 5-6 minutes.

That’s it. enjoy.

My first mechanical keyboard

After reading reviewing about mechanical keyboards, I wanted to try them as I have never used one before. So I thought to buy Das Keyboard 4 Professional for Mac with Cherry MX Blue keys.  The color codes represent different attributes of the keys. As per my understanding Cherry MX blue and brown are the most popular. The major different between blue and brown is that blue has a clicky responsive noise and browse does not.

I tried the keyboard at the office and the sound seems a bit too loud. So I might try the brown one at the office and use the blue at my home.

Apart from that, the experience is totally great. It feels so great when pressing the keys and the reliability of mechanical keys ensure that the keyboard can take a beating but would still work.

Evans Art Supplies, Dublin

I think I have found the best store for art and painting supplies for any level in Dublin. It’s called Evans Art Supplies.

I was fascinated by the number of things they have and the prices are relatively cheap/normal.

They are located at:

Specialized Crosstrail Sport Disc 2016

I have got myself a┬áSpecialized Crosstrail Sport Disc bike. Thought to go with this bike because it’s a hybrid. Meaning that I can use it for street as well as on a trail track.

Industry specific degrees / nanodegrees

I’m writing this article after reviewing about a new degree type called Nanodegrees offered by Udacity. I got a mail regarding that, so I went to their website and collected information.

Available Nanodegrees:

From what I understood there are two facts that make these degrees special

  1. They are designed to get the skills you need for a specific job role with several projects that will add value as experience.
  2. The overall curriculum is updated by partnering with recruitment managers and experts from leading companies.

So in a short time, you are a qualified person to take up the role taught in the degree program. This is extremely valuable for people who want to have a  career change too. On their website, they have posted testimonials from such individuals.

Along with these type of degrees, open courseware also have a big role to play. Such as the free online courses offered by leading educational institutes including MIT, Stanford, Harvard.

In the big I think these type of educational resources are going to disrupt the standard educational system and it’s a good thing. Maybe the 4 year degrees will not survive with these type of degrees in the near future because they tend to spend more time on theoretical aspects. Most likely they will be limited to a 1 1/2 or 2 year degree on a bit specialized field which will act as a base level knowledge or requirement to follow the Nanodegrees.

I’m pretty existed for the future of educational systems. I hope you are too. So have a keen eye on these matters.
